Large tag team matches now supported in PWS, with an interface that adapts to bigger teams.

PWS 8-Man and 10-Man tag match interface

Support for large tag matches has been one of the most common requests from the community, and I’m pleased to share that 8-Man and 10-Man Tag Matches are now available in PWS.

These match types have a long history in pro wrestling — from territory-era supercards to modern faction battles — and they offer a very different rhythm and feel from traditional two-on-two tags. With this update, you can now bring those larger, more eventful team contests into your promotion with ease.

Why Large Tag Matches Matter

Bigger tag matches allow you to do things that aren’t always possible in smaller formats:

  • Highlight entire stables or factions
  • Advance several storylines in a single match
  • Give more wrestlers meaningful moments on the same card
  • Create the kind of chaos and momentum swings that only happen when ten wrestlers are involved

For players who enjoy crafting long-running promotions, these matches open up new ways to structure shows, resolve feuds, or simply deliver something special on a big event.

A Clearer Interface for Bigger Teams

Large tag matches require more space on screen, so the match window now adjusts itself automatically:

When there’s enough room

PWS will expand the window so every wrestler — in the ring and on the apron — appears at a comfortable, easy-to-read size.

When space is limited

PWS will use a compact layout that gently scales down portraits and text so everything still fits without feeling crowded.

Both layouts are designed to keep the action readable, no matter how big the teams get.

Running the New Matches

There’s nothing new to learn or configure — you can set up these matches the same way you’ve always done. The only difference is that you can now choose up to five wrestlers per team, which naturally enables full 8-Man and 10-Man Tag matchups.

Once your teams are selected, run the match as you normally would. Everything else works the way you expect. If you’re new, the FAQ covers setup basics, and you can grab PWS via the purchase section.

Wrapping Up

This update expands the storytelling possibilities inside PWS and brings a classic part of wrestling history into the game in a straightforward, enjoyable way. I hope it adds even more flexibility to the shows you’re creating.

Thanks, as always, for your support and enthusiasm.
